Tureluurs Games
In the spring of 2023, it started with clippings on the kitchen table. Monique and Arvid had a creative upswing and the idea of making their own game. Kees came up with the name and so an idea became a game. Marloes' decisiveness completed the team!
The game developed quickly, from written cards soon came cards with drawings, to cards with prints. The dynamics in the game soon came, players had to cooperate and play tactically to win from the game. It caught on! Testers were enthusiastic and the feedback that came was quickly incorporated. And we decided to actually release the game!
Because of the theme, we partnered with the Dutch Bird Conservancy and raised funding through Kickstarter. Fortunately, we found a game maker who could produce our game completely sustainably: Fabryka Kart. The game is now completely plastic-free and carries the eco-friendly game label.
After a final sprint in September and October, the game goes to the game maker, pre-orders keep coming in and we cross our fingers for delivery before Christmas. And yes, just before Christmas, our games arrive in the Netherlands. Tureluurs Games is born!
